Hi You might be surprised but there is a market for scrap dental gold.
A close family friend works for a online company who buy and sell scrap gold. He tell me that people have old crowns and bridges tucked away in a box somewhere query about selling them for cash!
You can assume that the metal these items were made from has some value. After all, why else would your dentist have given them to you? But besides the metal, they have absolutely no other value at all.
So since the price of gold has risen so much recently, why not go ahead and sell them? I have told my aunt to do so.
